- Release roadmap spanning speech (Suzune), spatial perception (Kaori), and upcoming reasoning models currently in active R&D
Today, we are officially introducing Sorika AI Labs — an independent artificial intelligence research and product company founded by Darsh Yadav. We are building a future where neural intelligence is lightweight, deterministic, and accessible to everyone.
Why Sorika Was Founded
Moving beyond massive, centralized cloud compute.
Over the past three years, frontier artificial intelligence has rapidly concentrated into massive cloud-dependent Large Language Models. While these models display impressive capabilities, they suffer from significant real-world limitations: non-deterministic hallucinations, multi-second latency bottlenecks, and runaway memory requirements that make edge deployment impossible.
Sorika Labs was founded on a singular conviction: foundational intelligence does not require billions of redundant parameters. By combining fundamental mathematical formulation with modern architectural efficiency, we build compact foundation models that run on local hardware with sub-20ms responsiveness.
“Our mission is to prove that carefully engineered 80M to 120M parameter neural architectures can rival multi-billion parameter models in speed, precision, and practical utility without the corporate overhead.”
— Darsh Yadav — Founder & Lead ArchitectOur Architectural Principles
Research and product co-design.
At Sorika, our research agenda is grounded in three core pillars:
1. Non-Autoregressive Foundations: Eliminating stochastic token generation in favor of direct parallel synthesis, completely eliminating hallucinations and word skipping.
2. Constant O(1) Memory Complexity: Designing neural backbones with strictly constant VRAM footprints that never experience Out-Of-Memory (OOM) failures.
3. Sovereign Edge Deployment: Ensuring all Sorika models can run locally on consumer workstations, edge servers, and private enterprise clusters.
Active Roadmap & Upcoming Models
New foundation architectures currently in development.
Alongside our first two foundation releases — Suzune S1 (80M TTS) and Kaori K1 (Spatial OCR) — the Sorika research team is actively developing several upcoming intelligence engines:
• Swen: Continuous spatial latent embeddings for multi-hop semantic graph discovery.
• Sorise: Multi-step deterministic reasoning engine engineered for verifiable symbolic proofs and mathematical verification.
• Haruka: Real-time neural search and horizon retrieval across multimodal datasets.
